Our Ministries

Children’s and Youth Sunday School Classes

Children’s and Youth Sunday School Classes are available to all children. Sunday school is a wonderful place for children to learn God’s word on their level. Whether they are 2 years old or 17 years old all children benefit from learning what God – through His word - the Holy Bible, has to say to them.

Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School is the forum where adults who are children of God are invited to study the Word of God. We provide a place of instruction, discussion, sharing and encouragement to live out the Word of God each day. You are invited to come and join us as we strive to grow in our knowledge and application of His Word.

Discipleship Class

Discipleship Class is available to adults who have recently become children of God or those who have recently come back to the Lord. This class provides participants with an introduction to the basics of the Christian life and teaches us how to “live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world.” (Titus 2:12) Christian education director: Daune Clarke. Reach her at daunec@sympatico.ca

Transportation Ministry

We believe everyone should have access to the house of God. We understand that at times transportation can be a barrier to coming into God’s house. If you need a ride to and from church can arrange for someone to pick you up and drop you off. This ministry serves Malton and its surrounding area. Please contact our transportation coordinator before Saturday at 7 PM if you’d like a ride arranged for you. Transportation Coordinator: Ben Clarke at 416 819 9896

All are welcome to attend. Mens’ Leader: Clinton Russell. Reach Clinton at prentou2005@yahoo.ca Ladies’ Leader: Joy Brown. Reach Joy at joy.brown777@gmail.com

Prayer Ministry

Ephesians 6:18 “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” Romans 12:12 “rejoicing in hope, patient in affliction, steadfastly continuing in prayer” Here at Temple of Hope we believe that prayer is vital to a victorious Christian life. In an attempt to help each other sustain a consistent prayer life we provide those who wish a helping hand with a prayer partner. In addition we have our P.U.S.H.(Pray Until Something Happens) ministry where we hold a prayer phone conference call each Saturday evening at 8 pm. All are welcome to join us. Call in at 416-824-0824 or 647-448-7164. Prayer Coordinators: Ann-Marie Ramdas and Joy Brown

Malton Youth Changing a Generation (Youth Ministry)

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. All youth past and present need direction, support, and love. The youth of today will be our leaders tomorrow. Prepared or not they will lead, they will be our future. At Temple of Hope (TOH) we believe that we can change a generation through taking the time to mentor and mold our youth through the teaching and sharing of godly principles. We want our youth to be the best they can be now and when they are our leaders tomorrow. Every young person is different and comes from different experiences but no matter where a young person comes from the love of God and the Word of God can meet them there and take them to a better destiny than they had ever dreamed. Do you know God thinks about you and has a plan for your life? If you want to be a part of this powerful movement to change your generation please contact Ben Clarke at 416 819 9896 or bennie.clarke@gmail.com Youth Leader: Ben Clarke

Where We Meet

Lake was born in Guyana, South America but migrated to Canada in 1982 with his family. In the 1970's his mother was sick unto death. The doctors could not help her, many solutions were sought but could not remedy this illness. She finally, yet sceptically went to a Christian church and was prayed for and The Lord Jesus Christ healed her instantly and completely  from this dreaded disease. She then became a disciple of Jesus Christ and led her family in the way of the Lord. In 1989, Lake was born again as a teenager in high School. God is good.
He married the love of his life Ann-Marie, and they have 2 wonderful children, Angelina and Angelos. They are having fun living for God and enjoying life as a family. In 2008 they received the call of God to start a church in Mississauga, Ont., in particular Malton.
